Dear St. Francis Community,
In the spirit of transparency and in an abundance of caution, we are writing to let you know that a case of COVID19 has been identified within our staff.
This employee was not around our school children and has had limited interactions with other staff members and parishioners. Anyone who had direct contact with this staff member has been contacted. Please rest assured, all precautions including use of facial coverings, social distancing and proper sanitation practices have been followed since reopening our campus on May 31, 2020. However, in light of this case, additional sanitation measures are in effect including a deep sanitation of our parish campus before this weekend’s scheduled events and Masses.
Under the guidance of the individual’s physician and in accordance with parish, Diocesan, local, state and federal guidelines, the individual will be in isolation for 10 days from the onset of their mild symptoms. Anyone that has been identified as a close contact will be placed in quarantine by the Licking County Health Department for 14 days from their exposure date.
Direct any of your questions to our parish office by replying to this email or calling 740.345.9874. Please pray for the health and wellbeing of this individual and all those affected by the pandemic.
St. Francis de Sales, pray for us!
St. Michael the Archangel, protect us!
Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!
In Christ’s Service,
Fr. David Sizemore & the St. Francis de Sales Leadership Team
