JOIN US IN PROTECTING THE
MOST VULNERABLE AMONG US
Twenty-five years ago, Pope St. John Paul II wrote that the Gospel of Life is at the
of Jesus’ saving message to the world (
1). In taking on human flesh, dwelling among us, and sacrificing his very life for our own redemption, Christ reveals the profound dignity of
human person. This God-given dignity does not change with the stage of life, abilities or level of independence, or any other varying circumstance.

ST. EDWARD'S (virtual) LITTLE FLOWER SHOWER
St. Edward is once again hosting a Little Flower Shower though this one will look a little different from last year. In order to protect the health of these newborn twins as well as everyone else, we will not be having a social gathering. We will collect things and make a delivery of a meal, balloons, flowers, gifts and notes of support.
Lealoni is a mom of 4 on her own in Newark. This lucky lady is the mom of TWO sets of boy/girl twins. The older pair turn 5 this month, the younger ones were born in August. She is understandably tired, and asks for prayers to find good, affordable childcare. Let’s be the hands and feet of Christ as we shower this family with prayers, written notes of support, and gifts. All gifts need to be collected by Sunday, October 25 to be delivered to the family.
An Amazon Gift Registry
has been created with some needs and wants for Lealoni and her children. Please note that the Amazon registry is managed by the Little Flower Shower coordinator, and all gifts purchased on Amazon can be sent to the shower coordinator to be delivered to the family. For any questions or to volunteer your support, please contact
