A VIDEO MESSAGE FROM FR. DAVE
Now that you've watched, consider these questions:
Who has been a safety net for you in your life? Have you given thanks to God for them? Have you let them know how much their support has meant to you?
Think of someone who is not-so-sure-footed in your life right now. How can you help them either prevent a fall or comfort them as they regain their footing?
Got something to share from meditating on these questions and watching the video?
We'd love to hear from you! Just hit reply to this email.
JESUS IS CALLING
Many of us initially welcomed the laid-back in-home atmosphere of live stream Mass and, although many are healthy and able, it is tempting to continue to celebrate Mass digitally, with a coffee in hand, or not attend Mass at all because we are dispensed and not obligated, and it is summertime. However, nothing can replace kneeling before our Lord as He becomes present to us in His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, being able to worship Him as a community and receive Him like no other place on Earth. We are grateful we have been allowed to return to Mass and we welcome you to return:
come to the table
, where heaven meets Earth in the Eucharist. Our world needs Jesus, we need Jesus in this time isolation and fear. However if you don’t feel safe venturing out to Mass, or the hardware or grocery stores, for sports or a vacation, or you have health or age related concerns, then please know that we will continue to offer the live stream Mass for you to join us digitally.
OUTRAGE – IT’S WHAT’S FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH & DINNER
We live in a strange age. It is an age marked by contention, strife and factionalism. There’s no doubt that the news and politics have the potential to ruin our mood, throw us into despair, negatively affect relationships and ultimately destroy our soul, but
there is something you can do about it
. Consuming too much media is as bad for our emotional health as junk food is to our body. Please stay informed, but pleas
e be careful to look to reliable sources and limit your daily consumption of
media and social media. Start with prayer each day and throughout the day when you are feeling uneasy (consider trying
Hallow for free
), follow us on
for uplifting and good news and help us build each other up In the hope of Christ during these uncertain times.

ST. FRANCIS SCHOOL REOPENING PLAN
We are excited to return to full-time (5 days/week) in-person instruction for the 2020 - 2021 school year! A detailed plan for safety for our students and staff was released last week. We believe that returning is the best option for our children and our families and invite you to share this good news with area families who may be interested in a high-quality Catholic Christian education. Also be sure to check out the latest

ACCORDING TO THE GOSPEL
BISHOP'S ANNUAL APPEAL
Great News! We are moving right along with our Bishop’s Annual Appeal. Our parish goal is $132,205.51 to date we have raised $37,270.00. “Living the Joy of the Gospel,” inspires us, as people of faith, to share joyfully the Good News of Christ to those who most need to feel His love as we continue His work on earth as faithful disciples. By contributing to the BAA, we make possible the many programs and ministries that impact so many of our brothers and sisters to such a positive end.
Please, if you can, be generous to this year’s appeal to help us meet our goal so that we can support others the way that we have been supported. Remember any amount you give over the goal will come directly back to our parish.
Ways to Give:
• Call the parish office and we will mail a pledge form to you.
• Pick up a pledge form by the entrances at Mass.
