Our Holy Father, Pope Francis, has asked all the faithful to unite spiritually to pray the rosary together today on this Solemnity of St. Joseph. He has asked all individuals, families, and religious faithful to pray the Luminous Mysteries at 4 pm EDT (9 pm Rome time).
To fulfill Pope Francis’s invitation, we invite you to join Deacon Candidate Eric Wright for our first live stream event as he broadcasts from the St. Francis Adoration Chapel at 4pM today!
The live stream video will be available from 3:50 pm to 5 pm. The rosary will be recited at 4 pm with adoration to follow until 5 pm. As a reminder this is a live stream video only. St. Francis de Sales Church will not be open.
As Pope Francis has said:
We are led to the luminous and transfigured face of Jesus Christ and His Heart by Mary, Mother of God, health of the sick, to whom we turn with the prayer of the Rosary, under the loving gaze of Saint Joseph, Guardian of the Holy Family and of our families. And we ask him to take special care of our family, our families, especially the sick and the people who are taking care of them: doctors, nurses, and volunteers, who risk their lives in this service.
Let us all join together as a church family along with our Holy Father and the rest of the faithful around the world to pray the Luminous Mysteries today at 4 pm.
