Parish News, Thursday, November 28 , 2019
Thanksgiving Day Mass is 9:00 am.
There will be a collection for COM. Non-perishable food is welcome.
The daily mass on Friday, Nov. 29, is cancelled.
Advent Reconciliation Service, Wednesday, December 4th 7 PM.
We have over 12 priests coming to hear confessions during our Community Adoration accompanied by Praise and Worship music and sacred silence. Prayer ministry also offered. Our focus this month is on those who have fallen away from the practice of their Catholic faith. We all have loved ones or know someone who is away from the Jesus and His Church. Bring your concerns and desires to the Lord and trust Him to work in their lives. Perhaps you want to lift up your Christmas celebrations with family and ask Jesus to bless this time with an encounter with Him.
Men's Retreat a Success!
Over 60 of our Men enjoyed their first retreat since the 80's on November 16th with Fr. Dave, Fr. Franks and two Damascus missionaries as presenters. They shared a time of brotherhood through small group discussions, Mass, personal Reconciliation and Adoration as they encountered Christ together.
"It was a faith filled spiritual encounter that allowed all of us to deepen our faith and our friendships." Tony Adams
"We had a Holy Spirit blessed day today, I give thanks and praise!" Matt Muetzel

1st Sunday of Advent
“Therefore, stay awake! For you do not know on which day your Lord will come.” Matthew 24:42
People who have had health issues or near-death experiences generally have a greater appreciation for each day being a gift from God. The rest of us usually take for granted that we will be around tomorrow. But when you start to look at each day as a gift, you realize all the little miracles that happen daily and grow in gratitude for all that we have been given. You begin to see God’s active presence in your life.
Learn how you can give back to God by supporting your parish and contact The Catholic Foundation. Visit www.catholic-foundation.org/development for more information.
