Feast of All Saints
A Holy Day of Opportunity, the Feast of All Saints, is celebrated Friday, November 1st. Masses will be 9 am (with incense) and 6:30 pm.
For All Souls Day, Saturday, November 2nd, the deceased of our parish will be honored at the 5 pm Vigil Mass. The ushers will be reserving about 50 seats for loved ones of the deceased, who are invited to participate in the Mass by carrying a votive candle in the entrance procession in honor of their loved one. Please arrive early if possible and meet the Bereavement Team in the vestibule. A reception following this Mass will be Johnson Hall.
Adoration Service with a Focus
Our November Service will be for all those struggling with mental and emotional health. If you or someone you love, deals with illness such as: anxiety, depression, addictions, neurological diseases, etc. please join us for Adoration, 7-8 pm on Thursday, November 7th. We will intentionally offer our time before the Lord for those who struggle with these issues and for their families. This does not preclude your regular intentions. Adoration is always open to everyone and their personal intentions. If you would like to receive prayer for yourself or a family member, our prayer teams will be present to help you.
Encountering Christ in our School
Our 8th grade students attended their Confirmation Retreat this weekend at Damascus, a place of encounter where generations of Catholics are awakened, empowered, and equipped. We have given these students another opportunity to do just that! They returned "On Fire."

Encountering Christ Together: Stewardship
Next weekend begins our Stewardship of Treasure Campaign for Offertory. This year’s goal is to fund the budget completely as we still have many areas that are underfunded and we are short on our budget for this year. Please pick up your family's packet at the back of the Church after Mass on November 2nd and 3rd. We will mail those that were not picked up on Monday 4th.
The following weekend, November 9th and 10th, we will hand out our second edition of our “Stewardship of Treasure” at Mass. The “Stewardship of Treasure” will include information on giving, an assessment of where we are in our mission and where we hope to be, along with an annual accounting of our income and expenses from the prior fiscal year, along with a summary of our budget for the upcoming year. Take time to look through the pages of this booklet as they consider before the Lord how he has called them to financially support the mission of our parish in the coming year.
The weekend of November 16th and 17th will be “Commitment Sunday”. Bring your pledge and drop it in the basket at the base of the Sanctuary. No matter how large or small your pledge all are invited to bring their gift to the Lord. If you are unable to bring your pledge to Mass, please feel free to mail it back in the envelope provided in your packet or drop it by the Office.
If you have any questions, please call Maggie Wright, OFS, Director of Accounting and Development at 740.345.8708 extension 204.
31st Sunday in Ordinary Time
“But Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, ‘Behold, half of my possessions, Lord, I will give to the poor, and if I extorted anything from anyone I shall repay it four times over.’” LUKE 19:8
We are all called to gratefully give back to the Lord in proportion to the blessings we have been given. This means everyone isn’t called to give the same amount but is called to give equal sacrifice. No amount is too small or insignificant! Open your heart, how is God calling you to be more generous with your financial resources and possessions?
