A letter from Bishop Brennan
on the Solemnity of Corpus Christi
Dear friends, [w]elcome back! Many of you have been coming to Mass for months, some may have only recently returned to in person worship, and for some this may be your first weekend back at Mass. It's such a joyful time that the coronavirus is under control to such a degree that we can safely return to in-person worship.
Deacon Steve's retirement celebration
Saturday, 6/5 - Sunday, 6/6, following all Masses -
Murphy Hall (new location!)
Our beloved Deacon Steve DeMers is retiring from his pastoral duties. Save the date and plan to join us to celebrate him and his dedication to our parish over the years.
1st annual blessing of the motorcycles
Sunday, 6/6 | 12:30pm - Church Rear lot
Motorcycle “riders” and passengers, too, need the protection of God while they ride! Fr. Dave Sizemore will be officiating this new annual event. All are welcome! Join us and ask your friends who ride to attend! Those attending will receive a prayer card and a sticker of St Columbanus, patron saint of motorcyclists.
Men's Golf Outing
Saturday, 6/12, 9am Shotgun Start - Trout Club
This golf outing's main focus is Christian fellowship. All are welcome, especially active, inactive, and potential members of St. Francis de Sales Parish and friends/family of the same. Sign up as a team or an individual and join us for fellowship and fun!! This will be a 4-man scramble event with lunch provided after the round. Check-in begins at 7:30am with a shotgun start at 9am rain or shine (in the unlikely event of a course closure the back up date is 7/17).

Another option is through our new TEXT-to-GIVE number. Donate simply by texting SFDS to 740.240.6093. You can also use this in place of your normal offertory basket giving.
